Cosmetic Tattooing

Ombre tattooing is a form of machine shaded brows created by implanting pixels from light to dark, giving the brow an ombre gradient effect. This is a semi-permanent procedure which can be customised from a full and defined brow, or a softer, powder like finish.

Cosmetic tattooing is a two part procedure (some clients may require 2 touch ups, making it a 3 part procedure), with touch ups being completed 6 weeks post initial appointment for optimal results. The healing process for a cosmetic tattoo is roughly 12 weeks. During this time , it is vital all clients follow the aftercare directions to ensure the best healed results possible, as it is 90% dependant on how your body heals.

Non-Laser Removal

Think Pigment Remover is a specialised treatment designed to target and break down stubborn pigments in the skin, such as tattoos or deep discolouration. The formula works by penetrating the skin to reach the pigment particles, where it helps to break them apart or dissolve them. Once the pigment is broken down, the body’s natural processes, like exfoliation and skin regeneration, work to remove the pigment from the skin over time.

Multiple treatments may be required for best results, especially for deeper or more resistant pigments. It's essential to follow the treatment guidelines closely to achieve the best outcome and avoid potential irritation or damage to the skin.

Ombre Longevity

On average, a cosmetic tattoo will last 12-18 months before a touch up is required.

Clients with oily skin will break down the pigment faster than those with normal/dry skin.

Lifestyle factors such as suntanning, using Retinol or Vitamin A and certain facials will also fade your tattoo faster.

Suitability

Clients under the age of 18, who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have keloid scarring are unfortunately not suitable for tattooing. Clients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation are also not suitable for 6 months post completed treatment.

Anyone taking oral acne medication including Minocycline, Roaccutane, Accutane etc. are unable to receive tattooing whilst prescribed and for the following 6 months. Clients with existing tattooing must contact Work of Arch prior to booking.
